How much of my wedding budget should I spend on flowers?

Whether you’re opting for a minimalistic wedding, or you’re going all out, your wedding flowers can really be one of the most beautiful parts of the day and must be part of your wedding budget.

Flowers are one of the most beautiful, colorful, and memorable parts of weddings. They bring an overwhelming sense of romance and luxury to the ceremony and reception spaces, add beauty and sophistication to the entire wedding party’s look, and elevate the wedding decor and resulting photography.

The sky’s the limit when it comes to flowers for your wedding, but realistically you can plan on spending about 8% of your overall wedding budget. This covers the bride’s bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and ceremony and reception arrangements.

How much you actually spend depends on many different factors, such as whether or not the flowers you choose are in season in your area, the size and complexity of the arrangements, and how far the flowers must travel to the ceremony and reception.

Be sure to have your whole budget worked out in advance of meeting with your florist for the first time so he or she can show you all the options in your price range. Let Crystal Rose Floral Design have the honor of designing your flowers.

During your complimentary consultation, you can refer to a type of flower or a floral arrangement that you liked in order to drive the process of planning the perfect floral arrangement for your needs and provide the best impression during your special event.
